APTA offering free leadership conference

The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) announced it is offering a free, one-day leadership development seminar on April 8 in Portland, OR.
The seminar, led by APTA Secretary Babette Sanders, PT, MS, will help therapists in leadership positions, or hoping to be in leadership positions, learn the importance of delegating tasks, considering personality when recruiting help, and getting involved in associations.
Sanders also plans to talk about effective communication and negotiation, APTA said.
