AOTA approved as IACET Licensed Standards User
Rehab Regs, February 17, 2006
The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) awarded The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) with Licensed Standards User (LSU) member status, according to AOTA.org.
IACET commended AOTA "for its dedication to quality standards" in continuing education and training.
The LSU designation helps to further the recognition of AOTA continuing education credits among licensing and certification agencies that regulate the occupational therapy profession.
In addition, AOTA has agreed to monitor providers against established criteria and recognize providers that adhere to effective practices required by the IACET criteria.
