APTA to discuss cap in audioconference

The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is offering therapists a chance to get their questions about the Medicare therapy cap and other physical therapy payment policies in an audioconference on January 17.
The two-hour event will run from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., EST, with featured speakers Dorothy Shannon, Pamela West, and Stephen M. Levine.
The experts will allow therapists the chance to ask questions about the cap, 2006 fee schedule payment rates, correct coding initiative edits, CPT code changes, and more.
APTA members can sign up for $99 and nonmembers for $149. Today is the last day to register. To register, visit www.apta.org or call 800/999-2782, ext 3395.
