GAO report recommends HHS to have authority on cap
Rehab Regs, November 18, 2005

In a report to Congress, the GAO also recommended that HHS develop a way to assess therapy needs and improve its process of identifying improper claims. The GAO says that more standardization is necessary and that agencies must do a better job of collecting data on the health of patients receiving therapy.
