Calling all physical therapists
Rehab Regs, March 24, 2005
From individuals suffering from lower back pain, to those wondering if they need a physician's referral to see a therapist, physical therapists are getting answers out to the public via telephone, according to The Daily Journal in Vineland, NJ. The Health Hotline is a free, confidential hotline for anyone with questions about back pain. It is offered on the second Saturday of every month and is a joint effort between the Journal and South Jersey Healthcare. So far, the most common questions have been concerning disc disease and related problems, muscular spasms, arthritis, and stenosis, which is the narrowing of the nerve spaces in the spinal cord, reported the Journal.
