Wal-mart adds therapy to its list of offerings
Rehab Regs, May 6, 2004
Nine Wal-mart stores across Colorado are now home to America's Back, back-pain clinics owned by a private company based in Estes Park, CO, according to the Denver Post. The clinics target the millions of Americans who spend billions every year trying to alleviate back pain--and is especially attractive to individuals who are uninsured or who like the convenience of purchasing one treatment at a time. Employees at America's Back clinics are trained on the company's proprietary equipment and customers who use the machines must answer questions about their back health and sign a liability release form before treatment.
