Foot relief available to diabetics

Anodyne(r) Therapy, LLC has announced the results of a study demonstrating restoration of sensation in the feet of diabetic patients with peripheral neuropathy, according to Business Wire. The study showed that after twelve 45-minute treatments, there was a 46% improvement in sensation and pain decreased 45%. Additionally, 70% of all patients reported an improvement in balance and reduced fear of falling. Neuropathy is nerve damage that causes numbness or pain in the feet, legs, and hands, and is usually considered to be progressive and irreversible. The cost of diabetic neuropathy to the U.S. health care system exceeds $37 billion a year, according to Business Wire.
