CMS claims providers are satisfied with fee-for-service contractors
Rehab Regs, September 5, 2008
CMS said that Medicare providers have remained satisfied with the services provided by Medicare fee-for-service contractors, according to an August 27 CMS press release.
However, the average score for a survey measuring providers’ satisfaction with Medicare contractors declined slightly from 2007. That year, the average rate of satisfaction ranked 4.56 on a scale of 1 to 6, with 6 representing the highest level of satisfaction, according to the press release. In 2008, the average rate of satisfaction was 4.51.
A summary report of the survey findings is available at www.cms.hhs.gov/MCPSS.
