Rehab Regs, February 22, 2008

The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) is urging its members to comment on CMS' proposed measures for the Physician Quality Reporting Initiative, according to an AOTA press release. The AOTA has been working to develop measures that are specific for OTs. There are currently 15 draft quality measures for PTs and OTs. The four measures specifically for OTs are:

  1. Reevaluation of home program
  2. Objective edema evaluation
  3. Demonstration of preventive techniques
  4. Reevaluations of ADLs/IADLs
