ASHA elects new president for 2008

The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) elects a new president, according to an ASHA press release. On January 1, Catherine H. Gottfred, PhD, began her one-year presidency term. According to Gottfred, her primary goal is to make ASHA's new governance model what it is meant to be, which is a voice for AHSA's members.
