PRIT: Rescind RAC audit of infusion code claims

On April 27, the physician regulatory issues team (PRIT) discussed the audit of infusion code claims with the [unspecified] RAC and their staff and concluded that this audit was leading to inappropriate recoupment and should be rescinded. PRIT is a group of CMS subject matter experts who work with Dr. William Rogers to reduce the regulatory burdens on physicians who participate in the Medicare program.
