News: CMS loosens home-based health services payment rules

The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services said last week that thousands Medicaid patients might now be able to choose home-based care rather than go to an institutional setting, Reuters reports.
The new rule allows states to cover patients with incomes of no greater than 150 percent of the federal poverty level. It is subject to a 2-month comment period.
