CMS issues updated data files for determining disproportionate share hospital (DSH) payments
On December 27, CMS issued a transmittal announcing the release of updated data files containing SSI days and total Medicare Part A days (by provider number) for use in calculating DSH payments.
Effective date: January 4, 2008
Implementation date: January 4, 2008
