Medicare extends reimbursements

Healthcare officials looking for reimbursement on brachytherapy seeds administered in a hospital outpatient setting got some good news.

New legislation signed by President Bush extends the reimbursement policies for brachytherapy seeds through June 30, meaning Medicare cannot put restrictive caps on reimbursement during that period.
