In the fall of 2015, the ACGME Board of Directors began a complete review of the Common Program Requirements. Phase 1 of the project resulted in the adoption of a revised Section VI of the standards that went into effect last July. Meanwhile, the ACGME Board appointed a Phase 2 Task Force in September 2016 to conduct a review of Sections I–V. In February, the Phase 2 Task Force released its proposed revisions and opened the public comment period. Read more.
