To develop new strategies for improving physician and patient well-being and increasing the time physicians spend with patients, the ACGME recently announced the 30 resident-led projects that will receive funding through its Back to Bedside initiative. Developed by the ACGME Council of Review Committee Residents (CRCR), the initiative will provide teams with a total of $130,000 in grants, renewable for up to two years, to help physicians find meaning in their learning environments through meaningful engagement with patients.
