To find out what traits patients value in their physicians, Zocdoc recently questioned 1,025 Americans ages 18 and up for its Doctor-Patient Relationship Survey. Respondents said they wanted physicians who have a good education (80%), ask good questions (79%), are trustworthy (77%) and are good listeners (74%). Twenty-six percent of respondents also said a physician’s appearance is important and 43% want a physician who can make them laugh.
