New RPA Subscribers-Only Content: Can ERAS allow blind interview calls?

When we called for a possible revamp of the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), our intention was to initiate discussions for bettering the application review process. To take our discussion forward, the next logical step is to envisage a mandate for making the interview call process blind. Irrespective of whether this mandate may come from the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) through the ERAS or the ACGME, the time seems to warrant following the lead of European countries that have embarked on an honest, progressive, and potentially anti-discriminatory and bias-free effort of name-blind recruitment for the purpose of diversifying workforces.
