Louisiana State University (LSU) Shreveport will use a $1.2 million gift from the Medical Center Clinics, Inc., to create an endowment for LSU School of Medicine’s 29 resident and fellowship programs. The funds are the largest gift LSU Health Shreveport has received in support of residency training. Departments with residency programs will also be able to apply for funding to meet GME needs such as upgrading equipment, offering grand rounds, travel expenses to conferences, and resident recruitment.
