Rapid changes in the world of healthcare and health policies may leave new physicians in the dark on the pressing issues that affect how they practice medicine. To give residents a solid foundation, George Washington University (GWU) in Washington, D.C., has been offering its Residency Fellowship in Health Policy, an intensive three-week health policy course, through a collaboration between its School of Medicine and Health Science and Milken Institute School of Public Health.
