Program coordinator salaries by region

Location can be a factor in determining how much coordinators earn. According to HCPro’s 2016 Residency Coordinator Salary Survey, coordinators in the Pacific and Northeast earn the most. These coordinators also ranked highest in last year’s survey.
Without taking other factors into account such as job title, education level, or years of experience, the following are average salaries of coordinators by region:
• Pacific (Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington): $54,800
• Northeast (New England, New York, and New Jersey): $54,400
• Mid-Atlantic (Pennsylvania; Delaware; Maryland; Virginia; Washington, D.C.; West Virginia; and North Carolina): $49,800
• Central (Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and Kentucky): $49,700
• Midwest (Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Minnesota): $48,500
• West (Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming): $48,200
• Southeast (Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Louisiana, Alabama, and Arkansas): $45,400
