About 140 years ago, hidden at the back of a deep and dusty cave, just barely made out by the searching beam of a flashlight, scientists discovered the very first to-do list. It read, "Have people, need meat, long winter." This was not an isolated finding. In nearly every set of cave dwelling paintings that still exist, there are lists of people, dinner requirements, and rotating seasons. I bet it was someone's role to tally and organize resources (I have an inkling it could have been the cave coordinator).
