A physician is suing the Cedar Rapids (Iowa) Medical Education Foundation, alleging she and other female colleagues were assigned more patients, requiring her to work more than 80 hours a week. She is suing for gender discrimination, wrongful termination, and defamation, and is seeking compensation for lost wages, emotional distress, and mental anguish.
