A research study being conducted at Boston University Medical Campus is currently gathering data regarding GME administrators’ perceptions of professional development. The investigators are looking for input from GME fellowship and residency program administrators about their own professional development and have created a short anonymous survey.
Questions include what types of activities are considered professional development, how many hours each month are dedicated to professional development and if it is a satisfactory amount, and barriers and motivators for participating in development activities. The researchers’ survey can be found here.
