New residency program coming to Florida

Florida State University and Sarasota Memorial Hospital recently signed a deal to start a new internal medicine residency program in early 2017. The program will not be funded by Medicare. Instead the hospital will invest $5 million into the program, which expects to have 30 residents by its third year.
