St. Louis University’s School of Medicine will receive a $6.6 million donation to fund five residency positions, a visiting research fellowship program and a scholarship for family physicians pursuing a master’s degree over a 10-year period.
The donation comes from the Everest Foundation, which is the charity arm of Resident Medical Group, a consulting firm for medical students. The foundation will provide the university with a pool of candidates for the fellowship program.
Three of the residency positions will be one-year preliminary residencies focused on internal medicine. The other two positions will be for residents to complete a three-year family medicine residency.
