Residents share thoughts on improving medical education

Residents shared their thoughts on how to enhance medical education at the undergraduate and graduate levels at a special session during the American Medical Association’s (AMA) Interim Meeting this week.
 
The residents suggested the following improvements:
·         Additional education at the undergraduate level on business and economics
·         More training on how to complete paperwork more efficiently or new ideas to decrease the overall amount of paperwork required  
·         Standardizing assessment
