Dear readers,
It seems like lately everyone has their own ideas of how to reform GME. The Institute of Medicine released its recommendations earlier this summer and this week the American Academy of Family Physicians released its own proposal. I’m still relatively new to all this so I’ll defer to you. Does GME need reform? And if so, how? Let me know.
Also, I’m still looking for memorable recruiting stories for a story I’m writing for Residency Program Alert. As I mentioned last week, if you have had any challenging recruiting experiences you’d like to share with our readers, please email me.
