In 2033, medical education will involve sophisticated simulation models, high-tech screening tools, teamwork, and Star Trek-inspired scrubs.

At least that’s the vision of some students at Eastern Virginia Medical School, who won the Association of American Medical Colleges’ “Light-years Beyond Flexner: Academic Medicine in 2033” video competition.

The competition asked students to develop videos depicting the future of medical education, garnering more than a dozen qualified entries. You can see them all on YouTube.
