Talking mannequins equipped with the latest pieces of simulation technology are the central teaching instruments for residents at the Clinical Simulation Center of Las Vegas, according to a recent online Las Vegas Sun article.

The simulated human devices are capable of communication with their human physicians, as well as bleeding, sweating, and urinating to give residents a randomized, real experience. The set of nine mannequins gives hundreds of residents for both the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and Nevada State College a real-life clinical experience.

Staff can program the mannequins with more than 100 simulated clinical experiences.
