A residency program’s website is a vastly used resource for potential hires. Chances are: if they are interested, the website will be their first and last place for information. Make sure to dedicate a portion of the website for potential candidates that includes a letter from the program director/department chair and chief resident, a sample of the new resident manual, description of special training opportunities, promotional videos showcasing a "day in the life of a resident" and podcasts from residents or faculty on why your institution is the right choice.
This week’s tip is from The Residency Coordinator’s Handbook, Second Edition by Ruth Nawotniak, MS, C-TAGME.
