Faculty member resigns after alleged favoritism

Dr. Hetal Brahmbhatt, a faculty member in the internal medicine residency program East Tennessee State University's medical college resigned from his position, after the ACGME received complaints that he favored certain residents, according to the Johnson City Press.

The ACGME said that the complaints stated that Brahmbhatt favored residents of Indian descent and had many of them at his home to discuss the program
and other residents.
