When developing PIF answers about professionalism, ask yourself the following questions
- Does your program or institution have written policies on professionalism or professional conduct, dress code, and research ethics and integrity?
- Does your program use patient-centered rounds?
- How are residents taught the skill of developing medical knowledge while maintaining the confidentiality of the patient and family?
- How does the program address breaches of professionalism?
