The October RPA armed you with strategies to help faculty members overcome the mental blocks that stop them from documenting poor performance or behavior.

But that’s only the first of two steps. Once you’ve enabled faculty members to see the evaluation process as valuable, you still need to teach them how to be good evaluators, says Meridith Marks, MD, FRCPC, MEd, an associate professor and assistant dean for the Academy of Innovation in Medical Education and former program director at the University of Ottawa in Ontario.
