The ACGME’s Common Program Requirements state that residency program managers must create goals and objectives for each resident training level. Refer to prior goal and objective documents from years past to help guide you through this annual process. The goals and objectives should clearly include well-defined lines of communication between the resident and the following individuals:

  • Attending physicians
  • Peers
  • Nurses
  • Allied health team members
  • Patients
  • Patient’s family

This week's tip comes from Program Information Form Made Simple, by Jeri L. Whitten, C-TAGME, and Vicki Hamm.
