Editor’s note: The February ACGME e-Bulletin outlined nine red flags commonly found during site visits. According to the ACGME, the presence of these red flags in your training program may cause site visitors and RRC reviewers to question the quality of your program and whether you are complying with requirements. This is the first article in a series offering strategies for spotting warning signs and fixing them before visits take place. This month’s article tackles the red flag the ACGME calls “lack of preparation for the accreditation process.”
