Consider including the following documents in your resident handbook:
- Policies and procedures for residents
- Procedures for each service
- Call policies and procedures
- Due process policies
- Instructions for procedure diagnosis and tracking
- Goals and objectives for all rotations
- A list of the ACGME core competencies
- Sample evaluation forms
- Instructions on resident portfolios
- Instructions for all relevant information systems, with log-in information
