Canadian Patient Safety Institute hosts first patient safety officer course

Patient Safety Monitor: Global Edition, October 2, 2007

Ninety leaders in Canadian healthcare joined together to participate in the Canadian Patient Safety Institute's (CPSI) first patient safety officer course. Held at the Kingbridge Centre in Toronto, the weeklong course gave participants a chance to network and learn from each other by participating in workshops, team building activities, and coaching by leaders in patient safety. The course was developed with help from past participants in the Institute for Healthcare Improvement's Patient Safety Officer course.
