Author discusses medical tourism

David Williams, CEO of medtripinfo.com and blogger for Health Business Blog recently spoke with author Milica Bookman about her new book Medical Tourism in Developing Countries. Bookman thinks that although medical tourism can make a big impact on some countries in which the correct conditions already exist, medical tourism will not bring economic gain to many countries yet because they are not prepared.
She also talks about topics like global demand, U.S.-trained physicians, and how those people taking advantage of medical tourism often have ties to the country they in which choose to have a procedure.
