NHS: long sleeves pose MRSA risk

The United Kingdon's National Health Service (NHS) will formally ban physicians from wearing long-sleeved coats, saying the sleeves pose a risk of spreading MRSA and other superbugs, according to UK newspaper The Guardian.

Physicians will not be allowed to wear sleeves below the elbow when seeing patients, according to the article. Ministers at the NHS told The Guardian they believe MSRA has been transmitted bewteen patients via physician sleeves.
