Nurse Carol Eaton's experience as a patient is being used to help improve how healthcare professionals communicate with thie patients, according to a Boston Globe article.

The Kenneth B. Schwartz Center's Rounds Program has healthcare professionals like Eaton visit hospitals and explain their experience to help hospital staff understand what a patient's experience is like in a hospital, and how what seems commonplace to staff can be upsetting or scary to a patient.

The goal is help foster better communication with patients, according to the article.
