A new survey found that nurses are increasingly concerned about medication errors and safety surrounding syringes, according to an American Nursing Association (ANA) press release.

Almost all nurses (97%) said they worry about medication errors, according to the ANA. Of those nurses surveyed, 68% said better syringe labeling could help reduce instances of medication error.

The nurses cited order transcription, preparation, and administration as the most likely times when a medication error could occur.
