Jordan joins with WHO to develop patient safety plan

Patient Safety Monitor: Global Edition, June 15, 2007

The health minister of Jordan, Saed al-Kharabsheh, met with World Health Organization (WHO) officials and discussed the need for the country to develop a program to improve patient safety, reports The Jordanian News Agency. The health ministry of Jordan is making patient safety a priority and will collect data from five government hospitals.

Jordan is taking part in this program with seven other countries in the East Mediterranean region in conjunction with the WHO.
