The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality has placed the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Act of 2005 in the Federal Register. The agency seeks comments on how best to execute the law.

The AHRQ will hold informational meeting on March 8, 13, and 16 at different locations in Washington D.C. The March 8 meeting will focus on provider-patient safety organization (PSO) relationships, contracts, and disclosures. The March 13 meeting is about operation of a component PSO (a PSO that is part of another organization), and the March 16 meeting focuses on security and confidentiality issues.
