The JCAHO's Ernest A. Codman award recognizes achievement in using processes and outcome measures to improve organization performance and the quality and safety of care. Applications are due to the accreditor by February 14.
Organizations and teams of organizations may submit a performance measurement and improvement initiative that demonstrates a significant performance improvement achievement. A committee will review the applications and select organizations for on-site visits. The JCAHO will notify the winners in September.
