Shortly after CMS finalized a new rule on telemedicine credentialing, allowing hospitals to rely on credentials verification information from the distant site providing the telemedicine services instead of having to go through the weariness of verifying the laundry list of hospital affiliations and board licenses typically held by telemedicine providers, it looks like The Joint Commission has followed suit.
