AAAASF receives deeming authority for CMS OPT Medicare clinics

CMS recently announced the approval of deeming authority for the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF), meaning the organization is now a national accreditation program for providers of outpatient physical therapy and speech-language pathology services, as well as those clinics under the current CMS outpatient physical therapy (OPT) Medicare program, including occupational therapy clinics.
