Patient safety training and education programs offer range of opportunities

In recent years, several fellowships and education programs have been introduced to the field. Many of these programs have a similar goal: provide quality and patient safety professionals the tools they need to meet the challenges of implementing an effective patient safety program at their facilities.
There are many aspects of a program that potential participants consider when contemplating taking part. These may include location, cost, curriculum, length of time, history, faculty, and number of years they have been on the job.
The following list of opportunities profiles a few of the programs out there. This is by no means an exhaustive list but is meant rather to reflect the variety of educational opportunities that exist for patient safety and quality improvement professionals.
