Consumer Reports then ranks hospitals based on how satisfied patients were with care at individual facilities and ranks intensity of care on a scale from 1 to 100 (with 1 being most aggressive care and 100 being most conservative care).
Consumer Reports has found that more aggressive care does not always lead to more satisfied patients. Patients receiving conservative care often reported being satisfied.
