Partnership for Clear Health Communication announces award recipients

The Partnership for Clear Health Communication at the National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF) announced the winners of its Pfizer Health Literacy in Advancing Patient Safety Award at the NPSF conference last week. This year's winners are Dr. Michael Wolf, Director of the Center for Communication in Healthcare at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, and Dr. Rima Rudd, Senior Lecturer on Society, Human Development, and Health at the Harvard School of Public Health. Established in 2008, the award recognizes those leaders in the field of health literacy who recognize its importance in patient safety.
